Erected by JOHN NORRIE shipowner and ANN LAWSON his spouse in memory of
their son WILLIAM NORRIE who died the 17 of June 1835 aged 17 days; Also of
SUSAN HENDERSON mother of the above ANN LAWSON who died the 7th of March 1853
aged 79 years; "A mother in Israel whose works praise her in the gate"
