East Face:-	This stone was erected by MAY SHAW to the memory of WILLIAM GRIEG her husband. Died on 16th Novr 1805 aged 32.

Emblems:-	Central Shield with crossed flags; Lances & pendants; Anchor hanging below; Crossed bones; 2 clover leaves on shield;

Notes:- It is possible the WILLIAM GRIEG died as a result of wounds received at the battle of Trafalgar 21st October 1805.
