East Face:-	Erected by ROBERT and ALEXANDER BALFOUR in the most affectionate ...<unreadable>... remebrance of ALEXANDER BALFOUR his loving father who departed April 1846 aged 50 years. Also of JANE REID their beloved mother who departed this life 12 April 1849 aged 54 years and of LAWRENCE their affectionate brother whose promising career was cut short in the bud of manhood and on the 20th Jany 1842 aged 19 years.
