Erected by JAMES ROBERT and THOMAS FOTHERINGHAM their surviving sons.
East Face:-
Sacred to the memory of MARY NICOL widow of ROBERT FOTHERINGHAM shipowner in Kincardine who died on the 30th Jany 1865 at the age of 72. And of ROBERT FOTHERINGHAM her husband who died in 1833, was lost at sea at the age of 42.
Also of THOMAS and JOHN PRIMROSE FOTHERINGHAM their sons who died aged 2 and 14
West Face:-
Friend after friend departs but take comfort Christian reader.
